Thank you for your comments, I'm glad you found the article interesting. I may do all of my future articles - for this conference and for work - in this format from now on! Regarding your question about whether self-advocacy becoming more prominent among people who stutter, I haven't been in the community as long as others, but I do think it's becoming more common to self advocate. And I think that it's been easier because there is more awareness of stuttering. The film the King's Speech went a long way to educate people, as has recent media attention caused by news stories or celebrities "coming out of the closet". I think it's easier to talk about and easier for people to be understanding of it. And I think that greater awareness and understanding of disability in general has helped a great deal.
