I too want to add my belated congrats to Beth and Nina for bringing up a lot of important issues about stuttering as a disability in their cool format, a back-and-forth dialogue. Stephanie, your question is really interesting when you think about David Steiner's point above that "No court has held that the ADA covers stuttering per se." In my experience working with adult clients who stutter, this question of a job interview comes up quite frequently. Some clients choose to address their stuttering early into the interview, hoping that it clears the air and sets the issue of stuttering aside from the important parts of an interview, and some choose not to address it at all. I would be interested in more responses on this topic.
