Hello Beth and Nina I found this article to be very interesting in the way you presented the information pertaining to disabilities. I completely agreed with your statements regarding people attitudes toward stuttering. As a future speech language pathologist I have to say I am inspired to help PWS. I think the reason people have such negative attitudes towards people who stutter is because they don't know how to react in the uncomfortable situation. When a PWS begins to stutter it can be very overwhelming to hold a conversation. I think this is true also for others on the receiving end. What do you think are some strategies that we as speech pathogist should do in order to make the pws more comfortable. What can speech pathologist as well as people on the reciving do to make the PWS as comfortable as possible?
