Hi Beth and Nina, I think both of you have brought up some great points about whether stuttering should be viewed as a disability or not, and how people with disabilities would view stutterers as being accepted into the mix. I agree that stuttering is a disability, something that may not be so readily seen by the typical person, but it is still there. I've never thought about stuttering as a disability, only that it is a speech disorder that has a high emotional aspect. This post has given me a new viewpoint on the many ways people can view stuttering.
