Great question. I think this is going to depend on the indivdual and their stuttering. I think if you are stuttering in the interview, that this might be helpful. I have used comments like "I stutter so you will have to be a little patient to hear all my great answers and ideas." This usually helps to diffuse discomfort and tells people who to handle it. With that being said, I would NEVER put it on an application because some people might not interview me if I did. You can't control some of the attitudes when people are alone but you have a better chance where you have them in front of you.
