Hi Alexis. Thanks for your kind words. Yes, writing, and music, has been very important to me, when my stutter didn't let me express my feelings in spoken words. And you're right, there is so much more than just the stuttering word. Also the mind and the heart are highly involved and needs to get treated as well. I personally highly agree with the iceberg analogy. Once I let my stutter come up the surface it started to melt. I heard others, like peeling the onion etc, but I like the iceberg best and use it to explain my stutter. Do check out my papers in previous ISAD conferences and I hope we get the time to chat at the world congress for people who stutter next year. :-) www.stuttering2013.com. Keep talking!
