Hi Emily. Thanks for your kind words. Yes, it was difficult. My life changed when I met other people who stuttered. They gave me back my self esteem, pride and confidence. I than decided never to shut up anymore. But that was easier said than done. I got a project to talk to schools, ut realized I was not ready at all to meet all the personal questions, nor the emotions and memories I had been hiding for so many years. But bringing it all up, helped me to face and deal with it. And with the stuttering society backing me up, I grew stronger and now I am the face and voice of people who stutter, using my experiences to help others. Do check out my papers in previous ISAD conferences and I hope we get the time to chat at the world congress for people who stutter next year. :-) www.stuttering2013.com. Keep talking!
