Hi Manal. Thanks for your kind words. The last one was to show that something so natural to others, can be such a terror to us, not at all enjoying the moment, but only focusing on when your mask will fall. I wish I knew than when I know now: talk!!! We cannot expect people to understand if we don't tell them ourselves. We are still our own worst enemies, letting shame rule our lives, instead of focusing on our strength. For how many would do something they are afraid of doing, something which is so hard to do, but still doing that day after day? So every little push and pull from people who see behind our stutter, might help us throw away our masks and be proud of who we are. Stuttering sucks. Life doesn't. Do check out my papers in previous ISAD conferences and I hope we get the time to chat at the world congress for people who stutter next year. :-) www.stuttering2013.com. Keep talking! I look forward to reading more of your poems. They really help me understand the struggles that a person who stutters goes through on a daily basis. Thank you, again.
