Hi Justine, I've mentioned some of my therapy experience a few replys up, so I hope you can find what you need there. I'm not the yoga type, or Zen, or Pilates, or meditation, or relaxation, or massage. I can relaxed at home, cooking, with a book, with friends, a bottle of wine always works (don't tell anyone I said so), or on holiday. If I'm relaxed, my stutter doesn't bother me. If I'm stressed, it can, and honestly, I haven't found the answer to that one yet. I'm too busy to tackle it at this point my life, and it's not like it's holding me back, but I would like to learn some more in the future. I think. As for you and your fellow students: What works? Begin with asking you patients (clients?) what their problem is. What to they want from you? It can be many things, some want to kill their stutter, some want to pick up a girl in a bar without passing out, some want to be able to use their telephone (not texting, actually talking), some want it all. Don't think the speech is the only problem, it's more, it goes deeper. So dig deeper if necessary.
