Thank you for posting. I was truly surprised when you mentioned that, in your list of stuttering-related memories, the first time a classmate asked you why you "spoke so funny" was when you were 14. I haven't had any experience with classmates who stutter, but I had always assumed that kids, being as (painfully) honest as they are, would bring it up much sooner than that - such as 3rd or 4th grade. How did your classmates react to your stuttering growing up? Did they know it was there and just ignore it? Were they curious?
