I think you have a fantastic message for anyone who has suffered something on their life. I moved abroad in my 20's and lived like it was gonna be the last decade of my life. At 32 my entire life fell apart, I lost my job, home, car, all of my savings and had to come back to the States destitute. I was miserable for years, until I realized that the only thing really keeping me miserable was myself. I spent some time trying to rediscover myself and that's when I found speech-language pathology. I was hesitant about applying at first because I wouldn't be finished until I was almost 40. But then a good friend of mine pointed out that I was going to be 40 regardless; would I rather be 40 and doing what I wanted to do, or 40 and still miserable? I'm in grad school now and I don't regret my decision for a moment. It is never too late, and it's very important to remember that for anything you attempt in life.
