Hi Moussa, Thank you, so much, for providing an insight into your involvement with stuttering within Burkina Faso. It makes fascinating reading. You are to be congratulated on your sterling (and mainly lone) efforts to address the issue. It is heartening to note that progress has been achieved. There is an English saying “Mighty oaks from little acorns grow”, which means that “great things develop from modest/small beginnings”. I’m sure that the seeds you have sown will bear increasing fruit in the future. Incidentally, I had the pleasure of making your acquaintance (albeit briefly) at the 2004 World Congress for People Who Stutter in Western Australia. Although it was a fleeting encounter, I remember the occasion well. I note that French is the native language of your country. You may, therefore, be interested to know that a Canadian friend of mine (Richard Parent) has translated 18 of my online articles (in relation to stuttering) into the medium of French.
