Hi Lee Anne thanks a lot for your interest to my article. #1 - How long did it take you to learn English? and How did you do that? I firstly learnt english at school, but my level was basic. I can say that my english really improved since I have involved in volunteer work on behalf of people who stutter. Most of the books and information on stuttering are in english, it was use for me to do my best to improve my listening and reading comprehension. emails exhanges with friends greatly helped me to improve my english. #2 - Have you found that you still experiences stuttering in English - or have you had the experience of relief in other languages? I speak 4 languages (two african languages, french and english). when I was child I was more fluent in mandingo (african language from several west african countries)that was the language that I regularly used. But when I get older I much use french and there fore now I am more fluent in french than other languages. among the 4 languages, I stutter more in english than the others. I will be happy to count you among my friends in the world. as the world is now a vilage, hope to meet with you one day
