Hi Grant, thank you for reading and including me in on your thoughts. It does seem that covert vs. overt is not so easily divided. We do have to respect the journey people are on in coming out of the stuttering closet. Their journey may include some major cognitive shifts, that can be intimidating and overwhelming.
