After reading your paper, I have learned many different characteristics about covert stuttering. The question I pondered while writing my reflection paper for my fluency course was “Could the reasons why a person covertly stutters be due to their own dispositions?” I mean everyone has a different disposition. Some people do not care what others think while others are sensitive to any judgmental comment. Could these characteristics also play a role in why a person decides to stutter covertly?
