Jill, as a SLP graduate student, I found your article very informative. Having little knowledge about PWSCs, this article did bring several questions to mind. First, are PWSC typically confined to the adult population, or are children often PWSC as well? Also, do you feel that covert stuttering is always a negative issue, or do you think that some individuals are content using compensatory strategies to remain "in the closet," so to speak?
