The title of this article definitely caught my eye! One of my best friends is gay and I remember him discussing how the most difficult part of "coming out of the closet" was accepting that he was different from the people around him. In your article you discussed how a person is either straight or gay. Similarly, a person is either fluent or stutters. If he/she stutters it is important to first accept and then broadcast differences. By accepting your stutter, you can advocate for yourself and others in the stuttering community! Thank you for this great metaphor.
