I think when talking about the idea of choosing to (or not) reveal or advertise a stammer actively it is really important to (as you did) understand that there are different approaches and levels that might work for different people. // As someone who stammers relatively mildly I find it more appropriate to allow my stammering to come out gently and naturally and maintain smile/eye contact through periods of stammering, rather than actually go out of my way to tell people. Maybe I will develop that later, who knows!
