This was a very interesting article. I have had some experience with children with fluency disorders and I have not had the opportunity to work with adult fluency patients. I was unaware of the term covert stuttering and that some patients are able to hide their stuttering. This makes me raise the question though, if the client is able to cover their stutter, are they considered to be a stutter or a person who has dysfluencies?
