Thank you so much for this informative article. As a graduate student in my first semester I am not very familiar with covert stuttering and your article offered a wealth of knowledge. However, I was curious about one aspect, if a person with covert stuttering seeks treatment are they still considered a pwcs? Also, if they are, is there anything you feel the SLP can do to help them with their journey of coming out of the closet in whatever aspects of their lives they want to come out in?
