Thank you for writing this article on covert stuttering. I found it very interesting and really liked how you related it to something like a gay or lesbian coming out of the closet. That really gave me a better understanding of just how hard it can be for covert stutters to inform people about their stuttering. I am just wondering if you know if individuals who stutter that are of a certain severity level are more likely to be covert? I would assume that if these individuals can hide their stuttering from those around them they might stutter mildly and not have any secondary behaviors. Is this something you have found or are covert stutterers found in all severity levels?
