Hi Jeremy, awesome insight! Thank you for sharing your conversation with me. There are studies as to the workplace being a place where professionalism reigns and personal-friendship conversations are held at bay. The reason someone would choose to come out at the workplace is personal. One reason someone may feel the need is for advocacy reasons to advocate for themselves or educate their colleagues.
