Hi Christina, great question. In response to your question: I am unsure. The concept of “coming out” is a concept researched in many hidden populations, it has become most popular with the gay and lesbian population. As witnessed on this thread, I have had great support from individuals who are lesbians. Someone close to me who is within the GLBT community greeted my topic with enthusiasm, although this is only one person’s perception it was energizing! Kind regards, Jill
