Thank you. It depends where you live in the country and even the world as to how speech therapy is approached for stutterers. Where are you ? At the NSA Convention, each year, I do an interactive work shop called "Avoid Avoiding" . This is where SLPs and PWS sit together in a large circle and discuss how to do "Avoid Avoiding". It is usually very well attended and I plan to do it again at NSA 2013 in Scottsdale in July. Also, I gratis consult to school districts, universities, and SLPs upon request. As you said, it is different and some people like and some people don't but I keep persisting. J-J-Judith
