You mentioned that after a person who stutters learns to accept their stutter and learns how to reduce secondary behaviors, the SLP can then teach fluency enhancement tools and techniques. Do you ever teach these two aspects of fluency at the same time? Or is it better to start with acceptance and self confidence and then gradually add in the fluency enhancing techniques?
