You mention in your article when the stutterer leaves the therapy session and enters into his normal life of school, work, and community he will most likely not hold his improved fluency levels. Outside of therapy he still has fears, avoidances and possibly reservations about the new techniques of either fluency shaping and/or fluency modification. But what about inside of therapy? My question is in your experience with children and adults who stutter what is the most difficult obstacle to overcome for both you and the client? What are some specific behaviors that the client may use? What are some tactics or techniques you may implement? Thank you for your article it was very informative and reiterated information from my graduate fluency class. Thank you, Alicia
