Judith- Thank you for sharing your paper with us, I really enjoyed reading it! As a first year speech-language pathology graduate student the idea of quantitative and qualitative data keeping has come up very often during clinic meetings. I really think that, with regards to stuttering, the qualitative data is much more important. As you said, it is really about looking below the surface and seeing how therapy is impacting the individual’s everyday life away from the therapy room. Of course quantitative data is necessary for many reasons but your paper really shifted my view towards a more quantitative approach in all types of therapy.
