Annette, It's interesting you ask. I never even knew my grandfather stuttered when I was growing up. I only learned it later. As for my dad, we never talked about stuttering. I only knew that my dad had "stopped stuttering" at age 15. So I waited and waited but the same didn't happen to me. I think if we had talked more about stuttering, I wouldn't have tried to hide and avoid so much. But... my parents did what they thought was best. In the 60's and 70's parents still were being told to NOT talk about it. Kevin
