Hi Voon! Thanks for your kind words. It's interesting, I had a fair amount of family support when i was going to St. Anthony's (at age 18 years old) which was very important. When I thought my speech was REALLY slow, one of my brothers (the one I was probably closest to at the time), told me that he totally disagreed. He thought I sounded thoughtful, and actually tried to slow himself down a bit. His sincerity was a blessing. As I got older and was further along on my journey, my family asked me many questions about my speech, and it helped me to continue to objectify stuttering as just something I did through all these conversations. Similar conversations with my wife served the same purpose. Funny, my initial response was that I didn't get that much support, but as I type this I realize my family's support was very important. Thanks for pointing that out to me :) Looking forward to crossing paths again.
