I agree that "social activities are an extremely important aspect" of treating those who stutter. It is a great way for the clients to practice as well as build confidence in their communication skills. As you suggest, problem solving and discussing communication situations and "tough speaking experiences" is something that my professor has mentioned to be a very important part of therapy. What do you suggest when one has an individual session and would like to work on social skills?
