Hello! I am a student at Appalachian State University and I am currently in a fluency course with Dr. Joseph Klein. I absolutely love your article. As I am trying to take all of this in, being a student clinician with little experience working with PWS, what would be your advice to me as to where to start? I realize the motor implications as well as the cognitive/psychological implications found in stuttering and PWS. Which should be focused on initially in therapy? Or should they be targeted simultaneously? For example, if you were to target reduced anxiety and desensitization then that might coincidently reduce tension. I appreciate any and all advice as a student clinician with my first opportunity to work with a PWS this very semester. Thanks!
