Hi, I do agree, that sometimes "over" vigilance can create issues. However, when I think of my golf swing, I need to understand the basics, control my tension and tempo, and so at times I say myself....tempo, tempo, or hands are too tight...etc. This helps me get back to my better swing. I try not to overload with a bunch of "swing thoughts," but when I lose it, I understand how to fix it. I think this is what is needed for most folks who stutter. Once the basics are clear and the "tools" can be used to help gain better control, the golfer ( and the PWS) is in better shape to just let automaticity try to take over. But, if things get bad, the PWS and the golfer have tools to self-correct and improve control. What do you think? elise
