Great paper! I really enjoyed reading about the similarities between golf and stuttering. I found your comparisons about the two very interesting; especially the relationship between the smooth, tension-reduced speech and the smooth, controlled golf swing. I also enjoyed reading about Tiger Woods, whom I never realized was a childhood stutterer. I often find that when I have a client who stutters, it helps to motivate them when they realize that a ‘famous person’, like Tiger Woods, also shared their struggles and is now quite successful. Thanks for the paper. It was a great read!
