Thank you Lori. Speaking personally although not sure of the evidence to support this......environment plays a major role in my level of stuttering! A hostile environment or one with authority figures listening to a presentation I find more difficult. Recent gave a presentation at the British Stammering Association......where the environment/atmosphere was very supportive. Self disclosure seems to really help overcome a threatening speaking environment.
