OASESD! Very funny. Scott I appreciate the good spirit you Eric and Bob have brought to this conversation. I hope you take this response in the same good spirit. No matter what the topic more than one definition/label is needed to bring clarity to discussion and investigation. New words are being continually added to our language for this very reason. (As you probably know, a single copy of a current newspaper contained almost as many different words as the complete works of Shakespeare). Why speech pathology thinks it should be beyond this process is a mystery to me. Off to drink a cup of dark coloured herbal infusion. Tea? Coffee? other? I won’t say.
