Hi Connie. Thanks for your comments and question. I try to make my voluntary stuttering a little bit longer and maybe a little bit "smoother" than typical stuttering. I try to remind myself that I want my speech to be relaxed and smooth. And I probably do voluntary stuttering a little bit differently each time. I tend to not do "hard" voluntary stuttering, simply because I like to model easy, smooth stuttering for myself as much as I can. Not that there is anything wrong with hard stuttering, I just tend to like the easy stuttering... it tends to set my speech up for some easier moments.
