Hi Renee. Thanks for your kind words. I think voluntary stuttering (VS) is the only speech technique that I would recommend to all people who stutter. Each person does well with their own particular mixture of strategies, but I honestly think that VS is helpful for everyone. It helps with learning about your stuttering and how you stutter, it helps with learning how to stutter in different ways, and with different severities, it helps in desensitization to stuttering and to listener reaction... it helps in advocacy, it helps to modify moments of stuttering, it's the best, even though most PWS dislike using it at first.
