Thank you, Dr. Koenig, for your insightful review paper. I would appreciate receiving copies of your publications regarding neurogenic stuttering (luc.denil@utoronto.ca). It's great to see someone else who appears to be as interested in the topic as myself. I'd like to share a few thoughts after reading your paper: 1. From our own work and that published by others it has become quite clear that the symptomatology of neurogenic stuttering depends on the underlying neurological condition. Stroke may result in different forms of stuttering than, for instance, Parkinson Disease. I have a feeling that this necessarily will affect the forms of treatment that are most beneficial, although there is no data on that yet. 2. I also would like to point to the recent groundbreaking work by Dr. Theys who as part of her doctoral work (under my supervision) reported on a large-scale study of stroke patients with neurogenic stuttering, including behavioural and brain imaging data. Although we did not look at treatment yet, this hopefully will come next. I'd be happy to send you copies of papers if you'd like.
