Have You every heard of Moya Moya disease? I evaluated a 26 year old man who had some mild dysfluencies as a younger person and it then increased a bit just before his evaluation with me. We sent him to see a neurologist and he was diagnosed with Moya Moya disease which is a vascular problem in the brain. He had surgery to fix it and pretty much stopped stuttering. Would this be considered neurogenic stuttering.
