Thank you for your interesting article. Your assignment helped the future SLPs understand how hard and frustrating it could be to learn a new motor skills, which is experienced by children with stuttering on a regular basis. I always try to put myself in the client's shoes and share my own difficulty with them when I provide speech therapy to adults with communication disorders. This "sharing the difficult, struggling experience" was effective for most of the adult clients I have worked with. Do you think it is applicable to speech therapy for children as well?
