Mike - what a great story. I feel strongly that the therapeutic alliance is the critical element in successful therapy - whether it be speech therapy or psychotherapy. In other words, it has to be "right relationship." I found myself being envious of the therapist you have found, as it sounds like so much more than therapy that's helping you. Having someone invested in you, and willing to know you, helps people more willing to take risks toward change. I'm curious why you feel so strongly to find that "fluency bullet." It seems you have already achieved more than most of will. Keep on running too! ~Pam
