Pam- Thanks for your response. In terms of finding a magic bullet, I am no longer at that point in my life. I always knew there was no such thing. When you are feeling the pain and stress that only a PWS can understand, you will reach out for anything that might help. My goal now is to speak well, effectively, and be able to use my speech the way I choose. I have good days and bad days just the same. In terms of my therapist, I believe there are many many good therapists out there, and I truly believe that one should seek out speech therapy when and if it helps. In terms of being envious of the situation I have found, I can understand that. However, what I have learned, is that with some guidance, and dedication, any PWS has it within them to speak with fluency and eloquence. Perfection, I think should never be the goal. Freedom and happiness should be the goal. Thanks again for writing to me.
