Hi Jim, Excellent advice. The telephone held a great deal of fear for me for many years. Today it no longer generates any emotional charge whatsoever. I overcame my fear by simply using it at every opportunity. I would spend several hours each day plucking toll free numbers from the Yellow Pages and calling them with fictitious enquiries. For example, I called restaurants and hotels and reserved tables/rooms in my name (which I always had difficulty in saying). All I wanted to do was to talk, talk, talk – and I was doing it at someone else’s expense. (smiley) Over the years, I’ve also called members of Stutt-l and other Internet groups totally out-of-the-blue. Who knows – you may be surprised to hear my voice on the end of YOUR telephone in the not too distant future. Thank you for sharing. Kindest regards Alan
