I really enjoyed reading the article on phone call desensitization. With any anxiety inducing situation gradual adaptations are key to eliminating or reducing the fear. In a world where texting is becoming more and more prevalent it will only be easier to avoid the situation which will only make it worse when the phone is actually needed. How would you encourage phone use to a client who primarily texts (especially in adolescent and teen clients)?
