I really enjoyed reading your paper. I was very informative and the sarcastic/funny tone added to the article as a whole! Before reading this I was unaware that such scams existed. I didn't realize that people could stoop so low as to pretend to provide a service that would "cure" stuttering. After reading your paper I googled stuttering cure and was baffled to easily find many websites that claim to put a complete end to a person's stuttering. I was wondering if you knew when such scams started occurring. Obviously the internet has only been around for 20 or so years, but is this a fairly recent finding? Also, do you know of anyone who has been taken advantage of through these scams and if they were able to see justice? Thanks for posting!
