Hello Julienne. Great feedback and questions. Thank you. Stuttering is not the only area to be attributed to these types of scams. Other health areas, realestate and even match making for example all suffer the same online fate at the hands of people wishing to make a dollar. I am not sure how long these in stuttering terms have been around myself as I have only recently spent a lot of attention in this area due to a suddent rise of such sites throughout social media. I do know people who have been taken advantage of and none have ever taken action. Would be hard to instigate and follow up action on a global scale. One such PWS was attacked personally and publically through social media when a 100% "elimination" (implied cure) did not work for them. They were blamed for being not ready to be fluent. In other words the technique was not at fault or the course. This is a common ploy in itself though. Social media is alowing quicker spreading of these scams and shady operators and we need to educate fast to allow PWS to at least make informed decisions beyond what the site tells them.
