It's always puzzled me that people who stutter who are smart consumers otherwise -- would not buy a car without kicking the tires -- are so willing to suspend disbelief when offered an instant cure. What may fuel this phenomenon is that most PWS have experienced speech therapy that was ineffective, and some have given up on traditional therapy as a result.
