Thanks Jim for your comment. I think Grant has answered it beautifully. Sadly, people in vulnerable positions will try anything and it's not just PWS. I saw a gentleman recently for counselling who lost his home, car, everything, to an internet scam where an attractive woman (according to her photos) wanted to fly over to his country and marry him. In his 50's and never married, he was desperate so he kept sending money to her for plane tickets. She kept missing the flights and he kept sending more money. At first glance we may laugh at this gentleman. However, the scary part is that research shows that if put in the right situation with the right conditions, we are all vulnerable to scams.
