Hi Grant and Anthony, Thank you for undertaking the roles of guardian angel for those who stutter. I’m sure that most of us consider ourselves to be sensible individuals, yet we can act irrationally (and unwisely) at times of desperation and despair. Whilst the Internet has revolutionised the dissemination of information about stuttering, it has also facilitated the peddling of misinformation and false hopes. Ironically, our respective ISAD papers deal with opposing aspects of the Internet. I write about its value to PWS, while you highlight the online hazards. In your final sentence, you liken stuttering to smallpox. Are you suggesting that they’ve developed a vaccine? (I’m only joking) :-) Kindest regards Alan
