I think that "knowledge is power" really applies here. Since there is no ultimate "Internet Authority" that can censor sites like these, I think overall education and awareness is the best tool we have. I agree with you that a united voice could make a big difference. Maybe fight fire with fire and use media outlets as ways to get the word out there that sites like this exist and promote caution when we see that 100% guarantee.
